In attendance: Chairman, Higher Education Commission, and senior officials of HEC, PMYP and
NAVTTC
ACT AI Cycle 1 concluded with a National Graduation & Certification Ceremony — run as a national live
event. While the Minister and senior officials were physically present at HEC Headquarters, all participating
universities were connected simultaneously through the Smart Classroom network, allowing the Minister to
speak directly with graduating students on their own campuses, in every province, AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Nominated student volunteers from a range of disciplines and provinces addressed the Chief Guest
directly — describing what they had built and what they intended to do with it.
Mr. Rana Jaleed Ahmed, Programme Director, ACT AI, and Dr Ahmad Bilal, Head of Operations, briefed
the Minister on programme design, the national selection process, the delivery model, and how AI
SkillBridge executed at this scale for the first time in the country’s history.
Graduating students received four-partner co-branded certificates endorsed by PMYP, NAVTTC, HEC and
AI SkillBridge.
Why the format mattered. A conventional graduation would have flown fifty students to Islamabad and
photographed them. Instead, the same infrastructure that delivered the programme delivered its conclusion
— the full national cohort graduating simultaneously on their own campuses. A more honest representation
of the programme, and a demonstration of the model itself.
